“It’s a riddle, wrapped in mystery, inside an enigma.” Winston Churchill was talking about the Russians in 1939. Some of us may feel this way about ourselves and/or our place in the transgender community, especially when we’re just starting our journey of self discovery. Who am I really? Am I a crossdresser, a transexual, what? Where do I fit in? Do I fit in?

The good news is if we are honest with ourselves and keep exploring ourselves, always being guided by those feelings of what does and doesn’t feel right or natural, one day we just may know those answers. It’s truly a great feeling when we can finally say “oh, so that’s what I am”. It will be so obvious to us that we’ll wonder how we missed it all along.

When you know, you can decide how you want to live. You may be a transexual but is transitioning the right thing given your circumstances? If you decide how you want to live first and then try to be that, you’ll never be truly happy.
